  Heta Technologies was founded by Dr. Nishshanka Narampanawe in Sydney, Australia. He worked in hearing aids bio-medical engineering industry as a senior wireless design engineer in Singapore before moving to Australia. He has been an electronic hobbyist since 4-year old, made the first Electromagnet at the age of 5 and finished academics with a PhD in Electromagnetics at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2018. 

Dr. Nishshanka is a passionate electronic innovator and scientist with result-oriented capabilities and motivations. He is a problem-based learner with analytical problem-solving capability with never-give-up attitude.  Dr. Nishshanka is a self-driven initiator to explore new technology ideas for new applications and reduce existing manufacturing costs. He has an excellent theoretical knowledge in practical applications with over 3 -decades of hands-on experiences with electronics circuit developments and troubleshooting. 

Dr. Nishshanka is an inventor of the World first Custom Hearing aids product with Wireless Charging in over 120 years of electronics hearing Aids history

He has published 30 Journal and conference papers in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and filled over 20 International Patents in the field of wireless charging technologies.

Dr. Nishshanka was awarded the prize for the Best Final Year Student Project in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at General Convocation at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka on the development technology in the field of Wireless Sensor Networks.
